She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex MacKay and Ida MacKay (Ross); her daughter Debbie; her granddaughter Crystal; and her siblings, Betty Jardine and Robert MacKay (Mac).
She is survived by: her husband Chesley; her children, Allan Canning of New Glasgow, Valerie Canning (Doug) and Donna Shackleton (Dale) of Red Deer, Alberta.; her grandchildren, Melissa (Harold), Scott, Travis (Kelly), Tanner (Marissa), Tara, Tanya (Shawn), Vanessa (Andrew), John Allan (Jolene) and Chad; her great grandchildren, Taylor (Carl), Braylin, Lucas, Logan, Reese, Quinn, Bennett, Alyssa, Tessa, Sara, Emma, Brooke, Zoe, Kale, Zachary and Kaden; and her siblings, Fulton MacKay of New Glasgow, Tom MacKay (Wendy) of Kingston Ont and Florence Langille of Westville.
