She is survived by: her parent Mabel Campbell (Shipp); her spouse Jack Ellis; her daughters, Donna Pike of Calgary, Sherry Thistle and Bob Thistle of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Brennan Pike (Hanna), Carly Cunningham, Evan Cunningham and Ashley Thistle; her siblings, Lillian Gesner and Bill; her sister-in-law Bonnie; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Joey, Austin and Theresa.
Donations in her memory may be made to Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
