Diana Theresa Shakness Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diana Theresa Shakness of Stellarton, Nova Scotia, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Betts and Mary Betts (Tait); her sons, Gregory and Leo; her brother Hughie; and also Earl.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Shakness (Kayla) of Stellarton, Dawn Geddes (Darin) of Foxbrook, Karen Megeney (John) of Medicine Hat, Alberta and Kelly Shakness of Westville Road; her brother Robert Betts (Laureen) of Westville; and her sister-in-law Kit Betts of New Glasgow. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Diana may be made to Valley View Villa or the Alzheimer Society.
