She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Stephen and Mary Catherine Whytewood (Cornett); her husband Robert Samuel "Bob" Howard; her daughter Linda Marie; and her brothers-in-law, Dorman Cummings, James MacKenzie and Clifford Lowe.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Young (Allan) of Quispamsis, N. B., Heather Robichaud (Gerard), Lyons Brook, Brenda Hartling (Barry), Eden Lake, James "Jim" (Joyce), Park Falls, Robert (Brenda), Brian (Dawn) and Glenelg; and her sisters, Marion Cummings, Gladys MacKenzie, Riverton and Isabel Lowe. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
