He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Murphy; and his brothers, Breton and Blaine. He is survived by: his parent Raphaela Murphy (MacDonald); his children, Annette (Nathan) of Riverview, NB and Jeff (Joyce); his siblings, Bernie (Pat), Westville, Brian (Brenda), Lourdes, Beryl (Barb) and Brenda Brown (John); and also, Taylor of Riverview, NB and Brook.

Donations in memory of Barry may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Canada.
