He was predeceased by: his parents, Émile Pérusse and Jeanette Pérusse (Bisson); his brother Normand; and his father-in-law John R. Campbell (Red). He is survived by: his wife Levina (Vinie); his children, Jacqueline (Stellarton) and André (Catherine); and his brothers, Jean-Paul of Québec and Jean-Pierre of Québec.
