He was predeceased by: his parent George Canning; his wife Shirley; and his sisters, Ruth Millard and Barb Smith. He is survived by: his parent Gertrude Canning (Brace); his children, Chevrolet, Allan Canning (Florence), Springhill, Cleve Canning (Gale) and Linda Stockall (Doug) of Moncton, NB; his grandchildren, Jerry (Jodi), Jason (Amanda), Tim (Beth), Katrina, Trevor, Stuart (Katrina) and Allison (Daniel); and his siblings, Bessie Henwood (Harold), Bonnie Smith (late Carson) and Ted Canning (Mary). He is also survived by three great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
