We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2020, at the age of 89, William Edward Heffernan (Springhill, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyndham "Shig" and Muriel Heffernan (Hatton); his wife Janice Heffernan (Mooring); his sisters, Linda Jean and Dorna Mae; and his aunt Jean Heffernan.

He is survived by: his close friend Helen Clarke; his grandchildren, Lesley, Krista, Joe, Mike, Jamie, Matthew, Connor, Miranda, Samantha, Jacob and Kristen; his friends, Don Beaton (Kathy) and Jim McNutt; and also, Kevin (Virginia), David, Carl Heffernan (Paula) and Diana Heffernan.
