It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Weldon Rodney Rideout of Springhill, Nova Scotia, born in Peel, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 26, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Rideout and Isabel Rideout (Hallett); his daughter Tamara Campbell; his sister Eleanor Rideout; his parents-in-law, Talmage and Carrie Campbell; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Campbell, Weldon Bubar and Clair Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Campbell); his children, Janet Rideout, Rodney (Donna) and Kevin (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Cory, Ryan, Justin, Christina, Andrew, Adam and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Rylee, Rory, Jonathan, Oliver and Sienna Rose; his sisters, Katherine Bubar and Phyllis Robinson; and his siblings-in-law, Arvella Tilley (Ron) and Conrad Campbell (Dorothy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
