He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil E. Hoeg and Marion L. Hoeg (McKinnon); and his sister-in-law Carol Hoeg. He is survived by: his close friend Pauline Cooke; his son Scott (Sophie); his stepsons, Tanner and Kyle Betts; his siblings, Bruce, Kevin (Barb) and Kathy VanSnick (Brian); his close friend Tammy Betts; his sisters-in-law, Jeannie Nyitrai-Hacz (Peter) and Kelly Tucker (Tim); his mother-in-law Audrey MacDonald; and his aunt Dorothy Lavers. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
