He was predeceased by: his parent Victor Atkinson. He is survived by: his parent Clara Atkinson (Brown); his children, Paul Atkinson (Tanya), Ellen Stevens and Karen Atkinson (Lawrence Pye); his grandchildren, Marianne, Amanda, Micheal, Daniel, Heather, Douglas and Chelsea; and his sisters, Helen Gilroy (Robert) and Vicki Choisnet (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
