She was predeceased by: her parents, William Spence (Bill) and Gladys Spence (Storey); her husband Maynard Emmerson Maddison (Emmie); her daughter Karen Hunter; her children-in-law, Richard Hunter (Dick) and Heather; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Thompson, George Black, William Blenkhorn, Bickford Campbell, Bennie Miller, Jimmy Maddison, Kenny Smith, Kenny Maddison, Jenny Blenkhorn, Greta Campbell, Martha Miller, Helen Paisley Maddison, Toots Smith and Rena Maddison.

She is survived by: her children, Kathryn (David Livingstone), Monty and Kim (Arlene); her grandchildren, Tammi Solecki (Dana) of Quesnel, BC, Marty Hunter (David) of Surrey, BC, Tara Maddison of Amherst, NS, Stephanie Maddison of Springhill, NS, Emmie, Sam and Eve Maddison of Amherst, NS.; her great grandchildren, Allie, Hayden, Lidia, Julien, Adrien, Keiara and Haven; and her sisters, Marilyn Thompson of Amherst, NS and Heather (Paulette).
