She was predeceased by: her parents, Muir MacKay and Alma MacKay (Babineau); her husband Jack; her daughter Louise; and her nephews, George McKay Jr. and Muir MacKay.

She is survived by: her daughters, Arlene Chapman (Bruce) of Springhill, Kelly MacPhee (Rob) of Springhill and Lisa Sangster of Amherst; her grandchildren, Robert Stewart (Amy Kranack) of Amherst, Amy Stewart of Springhill, Tara Stewart (Jeremy O'Brien) of Shediac, NB, Shelby MacPhee (Richard Thomas) of Springhill and Diana Dickie (Wayne) of Amherst; her great grandchildren, Brady, Kenzee Rushton of Springhill, Arianna O'Brien of Shediac and Merrick MacPhee of Springhill; her brother George McKay (Alice) of Dilligent River; her sisters-in-law, Ardythe Tabor of Springhill and Olive Reynolds of Springhill; and her aunt Hazel Sterling of Springhill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
