As Sherman departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sherman may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sherman leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ansel Adshade and Eva Adshade (Moore); and his wives, Edith Adshade (Arsineau) and Marie Adshade (Bird). He is survived by: his children, Timothy (Cathy) of Calgary, AB, Paul (Deborah) of Dieppe, NB, Cindy Brown (Carlyle) of Springhill, NS and Angela Adshade of Springhill, NS; and his stepdaughter Lisa Lockhart (Ben) of Pugwash, NS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springhill Baptist Church (47 Church St, Springhill, NS B0M1X0).
