It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rebecca Lucinda Budgell of Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 92, on February 10, 2022. She was predeceased by: her husband William; her daughters, Evelyn Brent and Winnie Saunders; her grandchildren, Holly Clattenburg and John Wayne Jollota; her parents, Caleb Samson and Emma Samson; and her siblings, Annie Spencer, Daisy Woolridge (Alex), Gertie Patey (Baxter), Hilda Blake (John), Susan Burt (Sidney), Harry Samson (Susan), George Samson (Hettie), Edgar Samson (Lizzie) and Leonard Samson.

She is survived by: her children, Caleb (Audrey), Jerry (Debbie), Freeman (Shirl), Marie Darby (Edward), Rita Reynolds (David) and Daisy Wilkins (Owen); and her great grandchild Budgell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, others relatives, and friends.

In keeping with the Covid-19 Guidelines there will be funeral service on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2 pm from The Salvation Army Citadel, Point Leamington, NL.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to The Salvation Army Citadel Memorial Fund.
