He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Elnora Smith (Fraser); his son Michael; and his siblings, Darlene Sheridan, Glen and Mack.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; and his children, Noelene Hatfield (Greg), Kelsey (Holly), Bay and Stefan. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
