She was predeceased by: her parents, John Meekins and Mabel Meekins (White); and her daughter Judith Ann McKay. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Rowett; her son Mark; and her grandchildren, Krystal Rushton (Andrew), Raymond Redding (Tracy), Ricky Redding (Linda), Robin Redding (Lynn) and Mary Adams. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
