With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Hopkins of Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 26, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Blanchard and Edith Blanchard (White); her husband Alexander "Mac" Hopkins; her son-in-law Jean Aubry; and her brothers, Donald, Gerald and Arthur Blanchard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Hopkins of Springhill, Denise Hopkins of Springhill, Dawn Aubry of Springhill and Diane Cecchetto (Rick) of Amherst; her grandchildren, Jonathan Rolfe, Jarrod Rolfe (Paige Matthews) and Mikhayla Sweet (Simon Driscoll); her great grandchildren, Faith, Bowen, Cooper and Brooks; her grandsons, Stephen Rolfe, Michael Aubry (Anita) and Jeremy Aubry; and her sisters, Eleanor Hunter and Catherine Davies (Harvey) of London, ON. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
