She was predeceased by: her parents, George Alick and Nora Alick (Fawaz); and her brother Carl. She is survived by: her significant other Jim Reid; her daughters, April Beauvais and Georgina Michelson; her grandchildren, Bryan Hodgins and Jayde Riemersma; and her brothers, Douglas Alick (Beatrice) and Donald Alick (Holly).
