She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Carde and Mildred Carde; her husband Abraham Grant; her son Jimmy Grant; and her siblings, Lyman, Earl, Alice, Agnes, Ted, James, Georgina and Jean.

She is survived by: her children, Joe "Harold" Carde (Nancy), Mary MacWilliams (Robert), Philip Grant, Marjorie Simmons (late Wayne), David Grant (Judy), Robert Grant (Shelley), Betty Grant, Shirley Rector (Clifford), Fred Grant (Diane), Brenda Grant (Bubs Weatherbee), Audrey Fudge (Caleb), Brian Grant (Jane) and Paul Grant (Sherry); and her sister Karen Stonehouse. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
