She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Spence and Cynthia Spence (Pettigrew); and her husband LeRoy Brown. She is survived by: her sons, David (Debra) of Lethbridge, AB, Michael (Treena Larson) of Enfield, NS and Peter of Vancouver, BC; and her siblings, Douglas Spence (Faye), Beverly Harvey and Gloria King of Oromocto, NB. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Donations in Marie's memory made be made to the ALS Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Brain Centre in Halifax.
