She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dujay and Elizabeth Dujay (Melanson); her husband Melvin Weatherbee; her brothers, William, Garnet (late Theresa) and Ralph "Babe" Dujay (late Leta); her son-in-law Bill Knowlton; and her pet Ginger.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Clarke of Springhill, Connie Dwyer (Alfred) of Springhill, Kathy Knowlton of Springhill and Barby Weatherbee of Halifax; her grandchildren, Bill (Wendy), Travis, Carrie and Kristen (Angie); her great grandchildren, Julia (Abby), Chloe and Delia; and her close friend Barb Gallagher. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
