It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Eileen Aylward (Springhill, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Merlin Hayes and Christina Hayes (Higgins); her daughter Cathy Lynn; her sisters, Mary Cottonden and Verna Herret; and her nephew David Cottonden.
She is survived by: her children, Gerry Cushing (Mac), Rick Aylward and Rob Aylward (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Abbie, Lesley, Mark, Michael and Brian; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Lilly, Chloe, Madeline, Liam, Dakarai and Jahmya; her nephew Bruce Cottonden (Valerie); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamie and Jennifer.
