She was predeceased by: her father-in-law Lawrence Capon. She is survived by: her mother Maxine (Jerry); her husband Michael; her children, Michelle Capon (Jonathan), Stephanie Capon (Jamie), Sarah Tower and TJ Hart; her nephew Kyle Hunter; her grandchildren, Annabelle, Charles, Harland, Isabella, Rachel, Sidnee, Leighton, Bodhi, Cooper and Brooklyn; her sisters, Darlene Hunter-Arsenault, Charlein Hunter and Paula George; her mother-in-law Deanna Capon; and also, Jayse and Nora.

In lieu of flowers, the family and Leona asks for donations to the the Salvation Army in memory of Leona or a charity of choice.
