He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Arseneault and Ruth Arseneault (Maine); and his siblings, Debra Berry, Sandy and Peter.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Adenda Lowther (Ron Venus) and Bernie (Trista) of Springhill, NS; his grandchildren, Jaret of Kyle, JD, Brodie, Rylan, Khloe, Colby and Kale; his great grandchildren, Mason, Chloe and Roland; and his sister Ethel Rogers (Dora Bourgeois).
