John Hopkins Jr. Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John Hopkins Jr. of Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 73, on January 11, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Douglas Hopkins Sr. and Goldie Hopkins; and his brother George Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Tanya Hopkins (Bob Honkoop); his grandchildren, Braden Hopkins (Jackie), Tyler Hopkins, Brianna Sherriff and Kyle Sherriff; his stepgrandchildren, James Taks, Jordan Taks and Braelyn Warrack (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Jayden and Reid Hopkins; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aubrey and Oaklan Warrack; his sister Geraldine Charters of Moncton, NB; and his sisters-in-law, Beverly Hopkins and Jackie Demings.

At his request his family will have this done for him but in light of the current pandemic in our country a service deserving of a man with his level of dedication and love of country would not be possible at this time.
