He was predeceased by: his father William Chapman; and his brother John. He is survived by: his mother Agnes Chapman (Allain); his wife Jayne Aldred; and his siblings, Helena Chapman, Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, Fidell (Pat) of Airdrie, AB, Fred (Angela) and Billy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
