It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel J. Porter (Springhill, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 29, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Alton Cotton; her former husbands, Gorman Porter and Charles Legere; her granddaughter Mandi; and her brothers, Allison and Donald.

She is survived by: her parent Beulah Cotton (Weatherbee); her children, Kevin Cotton (Sandra) of Summerside, PEI, Allen Legere (Kathy), Truro and Sharon Thurrott (Chris) of McQuade, NB; her siblings, John Cotton (Darlene) of Athol, Douglas Cotto (Peggy) of Athol, Colin Cotton of Athol, Roy Cotton (Dora), Lem Cotton of Springhill and Ethel Baxter of Athol; her grandchildren, Nicole, Brittany, Garrett, Brooklyn, Ryan, Kallie and Waylon; and her great grandchildren, Holden and Theodore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
