It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Grace McDermott (Springhill, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos McNutt and Flora Belle McNutt (MacEachern); her husband Albert; her siblings, Jim, Walter, Hilton, Alva McPhee and Connie Dethy; and her friend Mike Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Layton McDermott (Anita) of South Brook, NS and Marian McLeod (Bill) of South Farmington, NS; her grandchildren, Colin (Shannon), Andrew, Lacey (Jonah), Angela (Scott), Joel (Katie), Bryce (Ashlee) and Lindsay (Tobi); her great grandchildren, Liam, Riley, Anna and Mae; and her sister Helen Clarke of Springhill, NS..
