She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Doug" Carter; and her father Florian. She is survived by: her children, Michael Carter (Thelma) and Laurie Hawboldt (Richard); her brothers, Doug Schiefer (Sharon), Springhill, Lorne Schiefer (Willena) and Parrsboro; and her grandchildren, Steven Carter (Charlene), Andrew Carter (Jamie), Gregory Hawboldt (Amanda) and Lisa Webster (Corey). She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
