He was predeceased by: his parents, George Farrell and Elsie Farrell (Rushton); his great grandchild Grace Marie Dawn Chapman; and his siblings, Herbert, Richard, Robert and Betty Hibberts.

He is survived by: his daughters, Patty MacDonald (Keith) of Upper Tantallon, NS, Kathy Brennan (Mark) of Napan, NB and Karen Beauparlant (Mike) of Belleville, ON; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Shawn, Aaron, Kayleghann, Kourtney, Mitchell, Kyla and Kristyn; and his siblings, Doris Sears, Debbie Powell (Marven), Dorothy Farrell, Brenda Jutras Farrell, Larry Farrell (Valerie), Gary Farrell (Shirley) and Jack. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
