He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond MacPhail and Kathleen MacPhail (MacDonald). He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Poirier; his children, Roxanne MacPhail-Porter (John Porter), Aislin MacPhail (Jordan Dale), Shea MacPhail-Nicholson (Dorian Nicholson) and Cavan MacPhail (Rebecca McKnight); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Watson (Nathan), Isabella Farrow and Malcolm Farrow; his great grandchild Parker "Peanut" Watson; and his sister Diane MacPhail-MacKenzie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.
Donations in memory of Charles may be made to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
