He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Spence; his wife Eleanor V. Stewart; his children, Vernon, Roy, Catherine and Evelyn; and his brothers, Harold Spence and Wilfred Rector.
He is survived by: his parent Roxanna Spence (Rector); his son Cedric Spence Jr (Dawn); and his grandson Dakota Spence (Cara Wood).
