She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Matthews (Jamie); her grandchildren, Wally Smith (Kristin), Michael MacDonald (Alysha) and Dylan Matthews (Autumn); her great grandchildren, Avah Matthews and Sophie MacDonald; her nephew Matthew Whittle; her niece Jennifer Meagher; and her close friend Bernard Holden.
