He was predeceased by: his parents, Beaton Langille and Florence Langille (Hickman); his wife Beatrice; and his sisters, Beverly Durmetrick (Reginald) and Yvonne Bluthner (James).

He is survived by: his children, Doug (Rhonda), Mike (Lisa) and Sarah (Robert); his grandchildren, Carye, Meghan, Adam, Karyn and Daniel; his close friends, June, Wally and Melody; his pets, Ruby and Star; and also, Kim, Roy, Liz, Gerald, Tammy, John, David and Mia. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
