She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Lowther and Hazel M. Lowther (Nelson); her husband Joseph W. "Joe" Rushton; and her sister Beverly Bourgeois. She is survived by: her children, Joanne (Ken) of Moncton, NB, Billy (Debbie) of Springhill, NS, Joseph (Heather) of Springhill, NS and Cathy (Kevin) of Springhill, NS; and her grandchildren, Jamie (Jennifer), Cory, Stephanie (Steve), Jonathan (Tessa), Joseph (Ashley), Lacey (Ryan) and Jenna (Tyler). She is also survived by 13 great, grandchildren.
