She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Matthews and Evelyn Matthews (King); her common-law partner Dennis Walsh; and her brothers, Bedford, Darrell, Butch and George.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Matthews, William MacDonald (Jennifer), Pauline Cooke (late Wayne Hoeg), Jeannie Nyitrai-Hacz (Peter) and Kelly MacDonald-Tucker (Tim); and her sister Jessie Hunter (Danny). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
