He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Margaret Mitchell and Walter Edward Mitchell; and his siblings, Ralph, Glenn, William and Brenda.

He is survived by: his brother Walter Terrence Mitchell (Lillian). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
