He was predeceased by: his parents, Silvanus and Margaret (Doyle); his son Jason; his siblings, Leotha, Maxine and Edmund; and his son-in-law Darrell Mills.

He is survived by: his wife Rosalie; and his daughters, Darlene Myers (Ron), Diana Newcombe (Darrell), Heather Mills (Tony) and Tanya Mills. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
