He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Getson and Marion Getson (Baker); his wife Darlene; his children, Brandi-Lee Dawn (Gavin) and Brad-Allen Lawrence (Sarah); his sisters, Margaret McCarthy (Aubrey) of Hebbville and Marsha Veinot (Paul) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Griffin and Kathleen Schooten; and his sister Marjorie Oakes. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
