He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Acker and Pearl Acker (Burgoyne); his brother Reginald Acker; and his nephew Dwayne Acker. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Acker (Luke Robar) and Matthew Acker (Kayla Joudrey); his siblings, Georgina Acker, Irene Thompson, Brenda Eisnor, Rosalee Hirtle, Roxanne Cockrill and Henry Acker; his grandson Braxton Acker; and his pet Dakota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
