She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan Newton Lewis; and her son Ian Newton Lewis. She is survived by: her daughters, Stefanie Budd (Bill Kempers) of Agassiz, BC and Vera Domingues (Luis) of Burnaby, BC; her grandchildren, Sasha Lee Budd, Ryan Stuart Budd, Amber Marie Little and Samantha Kaylene Lowe; her great grandchildren, Kaylem Budd, Kadence Lowe and Kennedy Lowe; and her sisters, Helga Grunendahl (Rolf) of Hamm and Ursula Naber (Josef) of Hamm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses, (VON), the Canadian Red Cross or Digby Hospital Foundation.
