Edgar Glendon Holmes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Glendon Holmes of Smiths Cove, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Holmes and Annie Iverna Holmes (Munro); his former wife Mary Amy Ramsay (Vickery); his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Holmes (Pecman); his children, Debbie Nerpin and Brian Holmes; his siblings, Louise, Hazel, Minnie, Charlie, Burton and John; and his stepson Michael.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christina Ross, Cheryl Wheaton, Tina O'bumsewin and Kimberly Whelan; his stepchildren, Robert, Susan and Margaret; and his siblings, Dorothy, Laura, Harold and Jerry. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
