She was predeceased by: her parents, John O'Neil and Dorothy O'Neil (Crawford); her brother Pat; and her brothers-in-law, Neil McCarthy and Gerald McKenzie.

She is survived by: her husband Merlin "Huck" (Merlin); her son Kelly Dewar (Christina); her grandsons, Ben and Charlie; her daughter Kim Mitchell (Gary); her granddaughters, Molly and Abby; her stepson Bryce McCarthy (Shelly); her stepgrandsons, Harrison and Vincent; her stepson Barrett McCarthy (Nikki); her stepgrandchildren, Logan and Lennox; her stepson Jonathan McCarthy (Ryan); her stepgrandchildren, Marshall and Violet; her siblings, Barb McKenzie, Bev Swan (John), Shelley McCarthy, John O'Neil (Linda), Mike O'Neil (Rowena) and Garth O'Neil (Stephanie); her sister-in-law Gisele McCarthy; her nieces and nephews, Tracey, Erin, Ashley, Katie, Cassie, Emma, Taylor, Kim, Katlin, Liam, Mark and Kevin; and also Derek McCarthy.

COVID-19 protocols must be adhered to; proof of double vaccination and a government issued id must be shown to attend; masks are required.
