Sandra Jane McDonald Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Jane McDonald (Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Doucette and Lena Doucette (Bernard); her husband Duncan William McDonald; her children, Norma Jean, Shirley McDonald and David McDonald; her stepson Dennis Evans; and her granddaughter Santanah Lee McDonald-Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Duncan McDonald (Krissy), Tina Julien (Alexander), Lena McDonald, Sam McDonald and Billy Roy McDonald (Marissa); her siblings, Christine Doucette (Terry) and Norman Bernard (Amy); and her godchildren, Clarence Evans and Laycia Syliboy. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ettinger Funeral Home Chapel (2812 NS-2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N2H0). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:55 AM at the St. Kateri Church (509 Church St, Micmac, NS B0N1W0).
