Rick Simon Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Simon of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, born in Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Simon; his wife Lana Simon (McLeod); and his siblings, Ben Morris, John Nibby, James Simon, Veronica Halverson (Bell) and Annie Ivas.
He is survived by: his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Tamara (MacPhee); his grandsons, Caleb and Logan; and his sisters, Anna Nibby Woods and Jackie Nibby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Rick's memory to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
