Peter Alfred Maloney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Alfred Maloney of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 6, 2022 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew "Shorty" Maloney and Martha Maloney (Sark); his sons, Peter and Baby Maloney; and his siblings, Eugene "Cowboy", Gerald "Indian", Patrick "Jackie", Stuart "Bunk" and Audrey Maloney.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Maloney (Paul); his children, Colin Maloney, Jason Maloney, Godfrey Maloney, Melissa Maloney, Jody Maloney (John), Sophia Gehue, Patrick Gehue and Daniel Drummond; his grandchildren, Angeline Maloney, Lily Paul, Dante Smith, Gabriella Smith and Isabella Smith; his siblings, Andrew Maloney (Doris), Thomas Maloney, Emile "Beaver", Kenny Maloney, Vernon Maloney, Loraine Bernard, Ruth Loft (Mike) and Marcella Hillier; and his godchildren, Sharon Maloney, Sheena Sylliboy and Darcy Copage. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
COVID-19 protocols must be adhered to; proof of vaccination and a government issued ID must be presented to attend; masks must be worn.
Peter was a survivor of the Shubenacadie Residential School and the Indian Day School and we would be honoured if donations can be made to "Every Child Matters" in Peter's honour. (orangeshirtday.org).
