He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Johnston and Gladys Johnston (Welner); his wife Jennie; his son Buzzy; his grandson Jason; and his sister Jane.
He is survived by: his children, Gordon (Nancy), David (Debbie), Kenny, Debby (Rick) and DeAnna (George). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family funeral service will be held at 1:30pm Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie.
