With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Robert Blake of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 20, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blake and Helen Blake (Harnish); and his sister Shirley Duncalfe. He is survived by: the mother of his children Marjorie; his daughters, Joann Kooy (Ben) and Lisa Blake; his grandchildren, Alex, Jordan and Layne; his siblings, Joan McEachern, Gerald (Bernice) and James; and his friend Bonnie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
