It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alexander Pictou (Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 4, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patricia Pictou (Brooks) and Leonard Pictou; his children, Mary Anne Martin and Dennis James Pictou; his grandson Maddox; and his siblings, Anne (Debbie), Sue (Rick), Grace, Mary Rose, Murray (Marion) and Claude. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
